Callie
is truly a special cat. Callie is two and a half years of age -
this is an estimate, but within a month. Callie just waked across our lawn
with her sister in October of 2006. I was at Wal-Mart when my Joanne
called me on the phone and requested that I bring cat food and a litter
box. I had never really paid any attention in the past.
Instead of Callie bonding with my wife, Joanne, she started bonding with
me. In a very short time I was training her somewhat like I trained bird
dogs. Today she knows many word commands. Some of those are no, door,
wait, sit, fish, work, eat, drink, and treat to name a few. Callie is a
great cat.
Among some of her bad or less desired habits are things like opening
cabinet doors and just looking in, then she goes on, but doesn't shut the
door. when strangers are around or near me she seems to get jealous. She
gets under foot when I am cooking and just lays down to make sure she sees
everything.
Although Callie doesn't like to get bathed, she is a very clean cat. I am
65 years of age with severe heart problems she knows when I don't feel
well. At those time she will come to my bed and lie beside me.
As you can tell I really love Callie and to me she is extremely
exceptional.
