Shansi
is a long-haired black, golden-eyed-one-of-a-kind, and was content
to spend his first 13 1/2 years within four walls and a patio of a condo
with his loving Mom and Dad until he somehow learned about houses and
garages and enclosed pools. He then manipulated his family into moving
into a home with a garage and screen-enclosed swimming pool and has become
the Richard Simmons of feline exercise by patrolling his 'seemingly
unlimited' surroundings on a regular schedule while managing to get in his
18 hours of ZZZZ's at his convenience. He loves to watch the
Chameleon-like Anoles skitter around the pool deck and on the screens, but
doesn't bother to chase them because that would be like... work. Yuk.
Shansi jumps on his favorite bar stool in the kitchen every evening at
4:55p.m. If dinner hasn't been started, he lets out a special 'meow' as
if to say, do you people not realize it's time to start cooking?
Shansi is our kind of guy and boy does he love his home-grown Catnip!
