This
is my bengal, Chopper. I got him after my other bengal died of
unexplained causes. I was devastated but had fell in love with the
bengal breed so I decided to get another one. He lives with his sister
Molly and the newest addition, Ava. He was so shy when we first brought
him home, but he eventually warmed up and we became the best of friends.
He loves to be up high and will run up the side of a tall cat playland
that my husband built. He is still very shy around strangers, but if you
ignore him he will come over for a pat on the head. Every day I come
home and find him buried under the covers of our bed - what a hard
life! He will then jump up on the sink and wait for me to turn it on so
he can drink some water. He also loves treats and that brown hairball
medicine and will meow meow meow when I get either out until he can have
some. Sometimes he will just walk around meowing in this loud, strange
way, which they say is typical of bengals. He is definitely not a lap
cat and does not like to be held at all. Sometimes I will get lucky and
get to hold him for about 30 seconds. But he does love it when I get on
the ground with him and pet him and kiss his head. He is also the
softest cat I have ever felt. Well, I have probably gone on enough
about Chopper, but he is so special and I love him so much.
