Oscar
is a special girl. She was chosen from a shelter in Los Angeles
when she was three months old when her Mum went there hoping to find her
previous cat who was missing. Oscar was asleep in the food bowl at the
time while her two roommates played around her. Just when her mother was
about to take one of the other kittens, Oscar woke up and looked at her
future Mum with those blue eyes and that odd and lovely dark chin
marking. That's all it took!
Ever since, Oscar has loved living with her Mum and visiting her Mum's
friends when her Mum has to travel for work. She is friendly toward
everyone and all of her Mum's friend's who don't like cats fall in love
with Oscar's sweet demeanor and nature. She is loud when she talks. She
wakes her Mum up at times when she wants to be fed. She's also very
clumsy. She chased a hummingbird off her balcony railing and broke her
back leg. Another time, she ran away from her Mum's friend's house and
had a two-day adventure which ended when she got hungry. Six stitches
later, she was taken home with another cone on her head. She still
chases the squirrels around her balcony but she just meows at the
hummingbirds now. She's the sweetest and most loving cat her Mum has
ever known.
