This
is my little female cat, TuTu - which is her nickname. Her real
name is Tuza, which is Sanskrit for "soul." She is approximately four
years old and is a domestic shorthair. She showed up unannounced in our
neighborhood about three years ago. As I already had a neutered male and
female cat, I had no intention of taking her into my home. But it took
about two days for her to make her way from my patio into my home and
heart. She is the sweetest, most gentle cat that I have ever known.
Sometimes at night I wake up because she is purring, curled up by my
heart. The other two cats are not quite as enamoured of her as I am. In
fact they pick on her sometimes, but TuTu takes it all in stride and
maneuvers her way around within the constraints of the feline social
structure in my home with joy and perkiness.
