We
recently moved cross country from California to North Carolina. We
had both of our cats Bennie and Scooter in the truck with us. Normally,
Bennie is such a chicken (afraid of his own shadow) that it surprised my
Husband and myself that he did better than Scooter on the trip.
In 2000 our neighbor (who took care of cats for the SPCA) brought over
this tiny bundle of blue eyes. He told us that someone had dropped him
off in a sack across the street from the SPCA (it had been raining that
day). I was told he was of Siamese decent.
We took one look at him and decided that Scooter needed a buddy. We
adopted him and named him Bennie. Boy did he give Scooter (our prima
dona) a run for his money.
Six years later, Bennie is our laughter, he comes to my rescue from
Scooters attitude attacks. He is my "Sumo Kitty", he's not so little
anymore, but has turned into a very loving lap cat.
Funny enough, he is very afraid of plastic bags! I wonder why! He is
my special boy.
