cat's name is Spunion. We hadn't really planned on adopting another
pet the time that we got Spunion. She was more like a "surprise kitty."
Originally we had gone to a flea market to see what kind of fun pieces
and trinkets we could pick up, then my sister Laura spotted a table that
was once filled with kittens, but now only had one kitten left, Spunion.
As Laura went over to see the kittens, the man selling them gave Spunion
to her and told her that she could keep him. Well instead of coming home
from the flea market with fun items and trinkets, we came home with a
cat! For six months we had been calling Spunion a boy and treating Spunion
like a boy, then we decided it was time to get him neutered. Right
before Spunion had his operation the vet called us and told us that our
cat was actually a girl! We were stunned, all this time we thought that
we had a boy kitty and it turned out to be a girl! This did not matter
to us though, because we still loved our cat Spunion just as much and we
always will.
Spunion is not an outdoor cat but she wishes that she was. She spends
most of her time sitting in the ledges of our windows watching the birds
fly around our house. I guess you could say that she is a natural
birder. She also enjoys playing with our dog Gracie. Spunion like to run
around with Grace and sometimes she will pounce at her. Her funny antics
are constantly entertaining us. Spunion likes pats on the head and
scratches behind her ears. She also enjoys playing with her cat toys,
especially cat nip. She even has a mitten that she carries around
because she thinks that it is her baby! Spunion brings tons of love and
humor to our family and I hope that this picture may bring you some love
as well.
