I
have had Noel since she was six months old. She came from an abusive
previous owner. Knowing how special my cat Noel is to me, my boyfriend
of two years asked me to marry him by putting a diamond ring around a
red ribbon on Noel's neck. It was adorable! This is a picture from that
day - you can see the ring beneath her whiskers! We joke and say that
Noel was engaged to him before me! Noel has always been very independent
and high strung, but at times she will come around to play with you and
let you rub her ears.
Noel is very independent, however, she is affectionate when she wants to
be. At the times when she wants attention, she will let you pet her and
she will rub up against you so as to mark you as hers. Most don't believe
me when I tell them, but she knows how to open drawers with her paws.
Noel hates water and when I take a shower, she makes sure she is nearby
to keep me safe from the water. She often feeds her squish balls food
and water, as if they are her children. She moans when she carries the
squish balls around the house because they make her so happy.
Noel has two cat sisters that she likes to boss around - Tink and Belle.
When Noel was younger, we would call her the traveling cat because she
was always so good in the car as I traveled to and from college. Noel
loves wet cat food by ScienceDiet. As soon as I open the jar, she is so
smart that she recognizes the popping noise. All of these things are
little reasons I love Noel. She amuses me and keeps me entertained.
