Wilson
was found in a parking lot at about three weeks old and raised at a
vet's office until the Island Cat Rescue in Alameda, California put him up
for adoption with his friend, Clancy. He was just nine weeks old when we
got him and he became best friends with my daughter. Wilson will let her
do anything with him and he just purrs and purrs.
Wilson is a rogue, a handsome and charming bad boy. He is nineteen pounds
and likes to throw his weight around by terrorizing Clancy, waking me up
every morning at around 4 am, and demanding the highest perch on the cat
tree or the best spot on the bed. He is very goofy and affectionate, too.
I also believe he understands everything I say! He meows hello when he
enters a room and will tell you if he's going upstairs to take a nap. He
likes to spend mornings lounging by the window watching the squirrels and
birds. He is also very passionate about catnip. He will help me with the
crossword puzzle, making the bed and taking the laundry out of the dryer,
as you can see in this picture. We can't imagine life without our Wilson!
