I
was born a barn cat, but I decided at an early age that was not the
life for me! My plan was to have the people in the house notice me.
Whenever they came home, I'd be in the bushes outside of their door to
greet them...this was my plan. One day they picked me up, loaded me in a
pet carrier, and drove 70 miles to another house. To my surprise, my
plan paid off! I was taken to a town and given to my new adopted
parents. They were so pleased to get me. The first night with them I
found my way into their bedroom and slept in a shoe box beside their
bed. I was so happy. My new parents really love me - why they even
adopted a brother for me. Imagine my surprise, when a little tuxedo
kitten came running out of a carrier one night. We are now best
buddies, although at times he's just a rascal. I continue to visit my
mom and dad during the night. I wake them up so they can rub me (I know
they love that). I then give them kisses. My mommy tells me I'm such a
beautiful girl. I'm glad I decided to leave the farm and go to the
city. My life is purr-fect.
