This
handsome well-fed educated gentleman cat, Chadwycke, lives with the
neighbors across the road. Several times each week he comes over to get a
back rub, a tummy rub, a chin stroke, a light snack, and talk trash to
Magdalena (tabby, four years old) and Angel (white with gray smudges, one year
old). Magdalena tolerates him, but Angel gets real frisky when he is
around, and likes to play peek-a-boo and other diversions. I've included a
picture of them nose-to-nose.
He loves to have his picture taken, but pictures are not easy because he
is constantly cavorting with Angel, or primping, or strutting, or rubbing
against trees, people legs, table legs, boxes, whatever; he is hardly ever
still long enough for a picture. But occasionally on warm sunny days he
settles down and stretches out on the roof of the car for a Power Nap.
When he decides his visit is over, it's over, and no amount of persuasion
will stop him from trotting back across the road to check on his humans.
