This
is our Mary Sunshine - we call her Sunny, our sweet little kitten.
I stumbled upon her in a box next to a grocery store. She was very, very
small and I knew she wouldn't last a day in that box without food or
water, so I took her home. She was also very quiet, so I assumed she was
mute the first day I got her. Then at night, she started making odd
noises that sounded like a whistle or a bell and I thought she was
having trouble breathing. Soon I came to realize that she couldn't meow
for some reason although she seemed healthy otherwise. So Sunny always
made funny peeping noises like a chick until recently, when she is
finally beginning to learn to meow like a cat.
She likes to play with hair ties anything that makes crinkling
sounds. She adores her older sister, Cami, a Bombay mix we had for about
four years before we got Sunny. She loves to be near Cami and makes
crooning noises when she is with her, even though Cami seems a little
annoyed by her at times. She loves to lay on her back like a person with
her paws up in the air, and starts purring when I flop her over in that
position. She is very pretty and sweet and I'm extremely happy I decided
to go to the grocery store that fateful day.
