My
husband and I are full-time RV'ers, and more times than I would like
to admit, some poor little animal ends up in the RV park looking for a
home. Such is the case with our cat Binky. I first saw her at someone
else's RV site. She was just a baby, about eight weeks old, and my first
thought was that she belonged to those people. That, of course, was not
the case. I tried to resist getting to know her, we already had four
other cats, but somehow I ended up with her.
She immediately took up with our other cats, although at first they
wern't too crazy about her. She has a very strong personality and
insists on being the center of attention, especially at meal time. She
thinks the extra space at the kitchen table was meant just for her, and
your food is actually hers. If you choose not to share your food she
will politely put her foot in your plate to see if she can steal a bite.
She loves to have her long hair brushed, if you brush your hair she will
jump up on the bathroom cou nter and demand that you brush her hair too.
She has some of the cutest expressions I've ever seen which just makes
you want to pick her up and love her ... but watch out, if she is not in
the mood, a quick nip on the nose is what you will usually receive. As
much as we love our other babies, we not cannot imagine life without
Binky, or Binky-Doodle as we lovingly call her.
