Maybelline
came to me from a family who took her in as a stray. They
had too many pets as it was and were going to take her to the pound but
once I saw this sweet little face I couldn't let that happen. She is
the sweetest and most affectionate cat I have ever seen. When she looks
at you, she actually engages with you. It's the weirdest thing I've
ever seen. She will do anything for attention. She rubs everything,
especially people. She is also very talkative. She never bites, you
can rub her belly, grab her tail, pet her feet, cut her nails, and do
basically anything you want to her and she doesn't retaliate like most
cats do.
Maybelline also has many hobbies. She likes to play with felt mouse
toys, play tag with my other cat, sleep on her owners when they are
watching tv, chase cat balls around the house, climb up onto the exposed
beams in the bedroom, and of course beg for attention. She also makes a
good alarm clock.
She is a very special cat to my family. She looks almost identical to
my great-grandmother's cat that I grew up with. She has black spots on
her belly and she has one red foot (which is why I like this photo, as
you can see it very well!). Her other feet are either striped or dark
and she has this one food that is a light red color. It's so cute. She
makes me smile everyday.
