My
cat's name is Romeo, he is only seven months old. He is an Egyptian
tabby shorthair cat. I live in Alexandria, Egypt with my husband, my mom
and of course Romeo.
I had made up my mind not have any more pets after my beloved cat "Jasmine"
had died last May (seventeen years of wonderful companionship). On July 27, my
husband came home with a gift, a little kitten (40 days old). When I saw
"Romeo" and the innocent look of his eyes, I couldn't send him back and he
became a member of our family.
He is so cute and very playful. He makes me laugh. He is a very good
companion to my mom. To my great surprise Romeo has succeeded in making her
come out of her shell and I am pleased to see her interested in something.
She has "Alzheimer" and has been withdrawing herself from society. He
stimulates her attention and both have built up a very close friendly
relationship. It is obvious to my husband and myself that my mom feels
content having Romeo. This photo shows them sharing a nap. I am pleased
that I kept him after all, he has been a blessing to all of us.
