I
was supposed to cat sit my daughter's cat for a couple of months, but
it has now been eight months! Needless to say, I do not think Tasket is
going anywhere soon. She has completely changed my life. I live alone
and she certainly keeps me company. I never realized how much fun it
was to have a pet. She loves to play and will run around like crazy
throughout my apartment. My nickname for her is "crazy cat".
I am a contractor so I made two window seats for her, one in the living
room and one in the bedroom. When she isn't playing, these are her
favorite spots. She will sit there for hours looking at the activity
going on outside.
While she can be wild at times, she has a soft side. She loves to
snuggle close to your face when you're sleeping or sit on your lap when
you're watching TV.
I know my daughter will be taking her back at some point, or at least
trying to, but I think she's in for a fight. Tasket is now a part of my
family, and I do not think I can give her up.
