Chicitico
was found in a construction yard when he was just a few days old
... in fact he was so young that his eyes were still closed. We rushed him
to our Vet where he spent the next two weeks undergoing tests and being bottle
fed. He was so cute that several of the office staff at our Vet's office
wanted to adopt him. We took him home at about two weeks of age and continued
to bottle feed him. Twice within the next few weeks we went out of town
and actually took him with us so we could make sure he was taken care of
properly. One of our other cats, Prince Harry, a rather large 20-some pound
cat, adopted him and would sleep with him to keep him warm and quiet.
Today, Chicitico is just a little over a year old and does not realize that
he is a cat. Prince Harry continues to be his best friend and father figure
combined. Needless to say, the "little guy" is now a lot bigger and a lot more
spoiled! He craves attention and loves to be carried around and cuddled.
We have created a monster!
