This
is Poppy. She is a domestic long-hair, a fluffy beauty at four years
old. She was rescued from Paws and Claws Humane Society. Poppy and her
three kittens were left in a box in the parking lot of the cat shelter
on the hottest day of the year. After the kittens were weaned, Poppy
came to me to foster until there was room in the shelter. I tried to
take her back to the shelter, but she had wrapped her fabulous tail
around my heart so came back to live with me and my other three golden
cats. I was the Treasurer of Paws and Claws for a time - when I counted
money, Poppy was always there to help hold the bills down so they didn't
fly away! She puts on a Diva front, but we are not fooled - she is a
loving little snuggle bunny!
