Cumin
is an eternal kitten at heart, and blesses us with such grace and
poise. Some cats live to eat. Well, Cumin eats to live. Her meals
have to be absolutely free from distraction--with me sitting in front of
her giving reassuring periodic gazes - or she simply darts away to watch
the kitty TV (bird and squirrel feeders that are visible from our
windows) or investigate a noise. Of course, I also have to sit there to
keep the other three cats from downing whatever she leaves behind.
Sharing a home with Cumin has been a true delight. Her chirpy greeting
at the door, her simple joy in meeting new people, and her goofy way of
missing our legs every time she tries to rub against them make my heart
smile ... what a precious girl.
