Hi,
my name is Havoc! Despite my "bad-boy" name I really do behave myself most
of the time. I have a happy home now but that was not the case just a few
months ago. I had been living in a shelter in Arkansas for a few months and I
wanted out real bad. I limped a little bit from jumping off of a counter but I
wasn't going to let that stop me. I decided to turn on the charm and
find myself new home ASAP. So when a nice lady came to visit and look for a
new kitty I strolled right over, jumped up on her leg, stared at her with my
big blue eyes and said "meow?". She picked me up and cuddled me and told me
what a sweet boy I was. I was so happy I couldn't help but purr! Turns out she
had seen my picture on the internet and wanted to meet me. The shelter lady
told her about my bad leg over the phone, but my future mommy-person said she
wanted to see me anyway. She really liked me and ended up adopting me and
another kitty named Toby. He's just a little bit older than me, so he's like
my big step-brother.
My new-found mommy-person took me to her kitty-doctor who said I had a
fracture in my leg, not just a sprain like the shelter thought. I had surgery
in March, and I still limp a little every now and again, but overall I'm a
very happy and active boy. My favorite hobbies are looking out the window,
romping with Toby, and playing with toys (especially my stuffed mousie!) I am
pretty good about quietly entertaining myself but I can get really talkative
when I want some attention. Mommy says I'm a real chatterbox when it's time to
eat, but really it's just because I'm so happy to be in a forever home I can't
help but thank her loudly!
