Hi
this is my wonderful cat Shadow. Okay, let's start from the beginning.
About four years ago we decided that I should have a cat that was mine and
all mine, my mom had a cat my dad had a cat so I should, too. After school
one day we went to the SPCA. I saw all the cats and kittens and was about
to leave when I heard a little meow - really tiny. I looked around and saw
her a tiny little white kitten with a grey head. And she was mine! A few
weeks later we took her to the vet the vet said she was very ill. A few
weeks after that my mom and dad took her to the vet a second time because
we thought she was going to die. After a long sick time, she finally got
better!
That's when I named her Shadow because she was always in my shadow.
Shadow, being raised by dogs, is very tough. She pretty much hates
everyone but me, her mommy (sort of). Every night I sleep with her on my
bed and every morning she wakes me licking my face.
Sadly a few months ago Shadow's best friend Zulu died at the ripe old ago
of twenty. Every night that week she (Shadow) would run all over meowing and
grunting like she was looking for her. It was very sad. So we got a new
kitten to be company for Shad and Lucy (our other cat). They love her. We
named her Sarafina after the angel of new beginnings, and now we have one
happy joyous cat named Shadow again.
