Hi.
My name is Sox, Sox the Cat is what my new owners call me and yes,
I do know my name. They rescued me after someone dumped me out in the
country and I was only six weeks old. I was scared and I had a hurt front
paw and I didn't know where I was. I was under a mobile home (hiding
from coyotes and owls) next to a nursery and the nursery man got me to
come out after a day or two cause I was hungry and thirsty. He was
nice. He got me a small litter box and gave me something to eat and got
to stay inside his office. Well, he told some other people who work
next door and one person, Hilary, went home and told her boyfriend Terry
about me. So they talked and Terry said "Let's go look at him," and so
they came to the nice man and they held me and we knew we were good for
each other.
So they brought me back to their home and now it is my home that I share
with them and Cinny, the five-year-old cat they already had. She still
hisses and spits at me and all I want to do is play. I try hide and
seek and she gets mad. But sometimes she lets me lay on the bed away
from her. When I am bigger things will be different. And I am getting
bigger, I am twelve weeks old now and my fur is getting really nice and my
paw is all better and my life is wonderful because these people treat me
the best I could ever hope for. Best food, good fresh water, treats,
attention, kisses, toys, a good vet (he's ok I guess) and lots of nice
soft things to sleep on. I get to go outside a little bit in the
backyard with lots of bugs and flowers and some grass. It is so fun!
Wish Cinny would play with me but Terry plays with me a lot and gives me
treats and kisses me a lot. So does Hilary. They love me and I love
them. I love Cinny too but she doesn't know it. They call me Mr. Hoppy
sometimes because I jump straight up for a fly or when I jump from the
dresser to the bed or when I play with my beenie bears, my favorite toys
that Terry and Hilary let me play with. Lots of toys and fun. I am
training them good. So, take care everyone and love your kitty!
- Sox
We do not know his breed but he does have slight stripes so there must
be gray domestic there and he has a white underbelly and white paws but
his markings are not "distinct" or clear. He has goldish brown eyes.
no pink nose, dark. He is very very intelligent, very very friendly and
trusting. And he likes to play hide and seek.
