This
is my new "son" Seamus-Patrick. Seamus is pronounced "Shaymus" and it
means James in Gaelic. I've only had him eight weeks but he's already found his
way into my heart. I've never quite met a cat like him before. This big boy
can leap into the air after a toy on a string at least five feet! He's amazing.
I'm trying to find a Superman cape to put on him because he obviously can
"leap tall buildings in a single bound." He was pretty much ignored in his
former home for over two years and didn't even really know his name. He surely
didn't know what a caress was but we've taken care of that. It's amazing what
a little love and attention will do.
He sleeps right next to my pillow in his own soft bed and occasionally during
the night he will reach over and gently give my head a little love bite as if
to say, "I love you Mom and I'm glad you adopted me." I never thought I would
have a red tabby but he's now my forever boy!
