Marmalade,
also known as Orangekitty, lives in Sevier County, Tennessee,
United States, right next to the Great Smokies. He is my dogkitty,
Marmalade. I call him my dogkitty because he's always at the door to greet
me when I come home and he follows me from room to room. This photo, taken
last January, is a scene that gets repeated several times a day!
Though Marmalade thinks I'm his daddy, he's also affectionate with the
rest of my family and even strangers! I rescued him as a wild born
eight-week-old stray from a parking lot across from my workplace on Labor Day,
2008. He is an excellent example of how rescues can make great pets!
This is Marmalade as a kitten. He was just under three months at the time of
this video and going nuts over a new toy! The background music is Anubis
by power metal band Tad Morose, which I happened to be playing at the time.
