Merrybelle, the Cat of the Day
Name: Merrybelle
Age: Nine years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Siamese, Ragdoll
Home: Meadville, Mississippi, USA

I came to my Mommy's house one day right before Christmas (hence the name MerryBelle) because my other family moved off and left me. Can you imagine that? I'm glad though, or else I wouldn't be so loved and well taken care of!!! We celebrate my birthday on May 20th. I am a very good hunter and I try to teach my little sister and brother all about life. I am a very sweet girl who likes to share. I won third place in a photo contest. My eyes are sooo blue that they just show up either red or "blank" in most photos. I was in the 2007 Mississippi Animal Rescue League calendar. I can open Mommy's closet door (I like to nosey around in there) and I love to get my organic crunchy treats every morning when I wake up.

I love to spend my days outside. I don't like to stay inside, but my Mommy makes me come in at night or during bad weather. I don't like to drink from our water fountain - I prefer our scuba cat birdfeeder outside. I love to sleep in my sherpa bed. I also like to get up in my "playhouse" on my back porch that Nana and Papa bought me - it has three levels and I like the highest one!! My favorite food is canned Fish and Shrimp Fancy Feast, heated in microwave for six seconds. I get to have it twice a day because my Mommy has to put my medicine (lysine) for my dry eyes and feline herpes virus in it. She thinks I don't know my meds are in there! I also have to eat Science Diet Light Hairball 'cause I'm kinda chubby. I weigh fourteen pounds. I don't really like to go see Dr. Pat every three months to have my eyes tested, but I am a very good patient. I am very thankful that my Nana and Mommy once took me over 180 miles to see a feline opthamologist about my eyes and we don't have to put drops in them anymore.
