This
is our special girl Cordelia (a.k.a. Missy Miss, Fluffinator, Fluff
Fluff). She is special because she spent the first six months of her life
in foster care due to health issues. We feel that it was fate that brought
us to the Humane Society just shortly after she was brought in ready for
adoption. While my husband was looking at other kittens, I saw this
scrawny kitten that looked as though she had seen better days. When I
picked her up, she immediately put her arms around my neck and purred like
a motor boat. I knew at that moment she had found her new home with us!
We never could have imagined just how beautiful a cat she would become
(especially seeing her that first day), and never thought that she would be a
long haired cat (she was pretty shaved when we adopted her). Cordelia has
never met a person that she didn't like, and has even won over every non-cat
person that has come to the house. She is the first one to the door when the
doorbell rings, and immediately approaches you to get some loving. She has
more personality in her one paw than any other cat we have known. Even though
our other three cats are much larger than her, she definitely runs the roost here!
Cordelia is an extremely smart cat, and knows exactly how to get your
attention at any time. If you try to ignore her, she will do something she
knows she is not supposed to do just to make sure you don't ignore her. We
can never get mad at her, though, as she is just such a sweet cat. She does,
however, get jealous when we are loving on one of our other cats and will
chase after them once we stop.
We hope you think our Missy Miss is just as special as we do, and we hope she
is with us for a very, very long time to come.
