Hi!
My name is Ernie! As you can see, I am a sleek House Panther!
I was adopted from a shelter by my family in March 2006 when I was about seven
months old. I live in the island community of Grosse Ile, Michigan with my
mom and dad, and two other cats - Wally and Zoey. Collectively, we're called
The Island Cats, and you can find us sharing pictures and stories on our blog
"The Island Cats".
One of the most interesting things about me is that I'm a polydactyl which
means I've got extra toes - I got seven toes on each of my front paws and five on
each of my back feet. It makes me extra special!!
I love to jump and play and chase Wally and Zoey around the house! I love to
sit in the windows and watch the birds, squirrels, rabbits - and even an
occasional deer or two - outside.
I've got quite the life here as an Island Cat! Mom says she's pretty lucky to
have found me... but I think I'm pretty lucky too!
