This
is Galiver, though we refer to her as Gallie mostly. My wife and I found
her at the local Humane Society. Gallie is still a kitten at heart though she
is over fourteen. She loves to play with her toys, real or imagined, mostly
when she thinks she is not being watched. And with her age she has developed
that mothering instinct as when one of us is sick she will stay by us until we
are well, always ready with a rub or soft purr of comfort. Since we live in a
rural area, we have all kinds of wildlife that visit, so she loves to sit in
the doorway, in the sun, and watch for whatever animals or visitors will pass
by. She shows no desire to go out and hunt them, but is fascinated by the
"show" they provide. She's very special to our family.
