When
we adopted her from the animal shelter twenty years ago she was a kitten.
Spritz is a very lucky cat, because Spritz was rescued from an
abandoned house, when it caught on fire. Although she is twenty years old, Spritz
still runs around like a young cat and plays with the others.
Spritz sits and sleeps by the fireplace when it is cold. She likes other cats
until they bother her. We live in Maryland where the state cat is the calico.
This would mean that she would qualify as a state cat of Maryland! Some of
her favorite things to do are chase after string and play with some of her
mice. Being so old, we give her special food. At the same time each day she
comes downstairs and follows us around until we give her what she wants.
Spritz tries to get vocal, but she has a hard time making noise at her age.
Most mornings Spritz is there to wake us up. We are very lucky to have Spritz!
