Meet
the new additions to our family - Max and Ruby! They are seven months old
and are just so sweet! My four-year-old daughter is right in love with them, and
has taken over as their "mommy." She loves it when they both fall asleep on
her after getting all tuckered out from playing.
It took us a while to be able to tell the difference, but now it's no problem.
Max is much bigger and has a few white hairs at the base of one ear. Ruby is a
petite one with a very fluffy tail. I am so glad we got them both because they
are always together, and keep each other company during the day and on
weekends that we go camping.
Max and Ruby really like their big sister, Lilly the Rottweiler. I think they
even have Lilly wrapped around their little paws! They are not scared of her
at all, what with the 60 pound difference! They like to play on Lilly's bed,
and Lilly will let them. Lilly is very curious about the two new kittens, but
she is also very gentle.
Max and Ruby have so much energy and love to play with their toys - even with
the basket their toys are in! But when they get "all played out" they are so
lovable and will curl up either together or on my daughter, myself or my husband.
