This
is Sammy, (AKA Sam the Man) one of my five rescue cats. I was going for my nightly
walk one night when I happened to see this cat out of the corner of my eye. He was tiny,
skinny and looked so sad. He came running over when I called out to him. I asked people
in the neighborhood if they knew whose cat it was but no one did. I went home and came
back to the spot I saw him and just called out to him. Sure enough he came running over
so I fed him some food that I had brought just in case - he was starving. I did this
every night for about a week. I drove around the area looking for fliers to see if he
was lost but nothing. Needless to say, I brought my husband to meet him and we ended up
taking him home with us.
Sammy is such a loving and beautiful cat and is very close to his brother Louie. They
kiss and lay together all the time. I was going to try to find him a home but I just
couldn't give him up. Besides the fact that Louie told me that I had to keep him and I
couldn't be happier. He now knows how to walk on a leash, so he stays safe and near me.
He truly is a wonderful cat.
