I
have two Sphynx cats and Saki has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Saki loves life... she loves spending time with the family and she loves to
play. She even loves our dogs. Saki is such a loving kitten and I love her
very much. Having come into my life at just the right time, I believe I was
destined to be her momma. My youngest son will be graduating this month from
the Marines and I got Saki just after his high school graduation and about two
months before he left for boot camp. It has been very difficult on me while
he's been away at boot camp and Saki has been especially comforting. Not only
have I been dealing with my son being away, but my husband works out of town a
lot and just my luck has been gone during the week the entire time. Every
evening she spends time sitting with me. If I didn't have chores to do she
and I would both be content with me holding her all evening long.
Much to my surprise just before I picked up Saki her breeder, who I've become
great friends with, mentioned that Saki would do well in the show ring. She
has a great personality and has an awesome coat. I had never even thought
about entering shows, but decided why not? We went to our first show in August
as a kitten. Saki did really well and we had a wonderful time. In September
Saki became old enough to enter the Premier ring. Once we get home from
seeing my son graduate as a Marine I hope to start entering her in more shows
so she can begin to earn points. Actually the shows are quite fun. To prepare
Saki for shows I have been taking her out and socializing her as much as
possible. Once in town we put on her harness and off we go. She is always a
big hit and she absolutely loves people making a fuss over her.
Saki along with the rest of my pets are special to me every day. She's
beautiful, sweet, loving and just an all around joy to have around. I feel
very honored to be her momma!
