This
is my cat Zoey, and she is a Lynx point Siamese. Zoey came to us at six
weeks old because the breeder did not want a Lynx Point, only the traditional
points for his kittens. Zoey is special because from kittenhood until she was
three she acted as a service "dog" for my disabled husband. Zoey would pick
small objects up for him, turn off light switches but mostly sit and keep him
company for hours at a time. Every morning they ate Cheerios together and
even though my husband has passed, Zoey still waits for her Cheerios each
morning.
Zoey always lays beside me in her purple bed while I work and when I look down
and say "Hi," she looks up and smiles, yes she smiles! We live in a small
town and Zoey is well know for going in the shops with me in her own pink
stroller. Zoey also visits the local nursing homes to cheer people who can
not have their cats with them. Zoey shares her life with me and our little
dog in Connecticut, USA.
