Hello,
My name's Liger or Ligey for short. My owner's aunt rescued me from
the back woods in the back of her home where I was living in a slimy
sewage drain and was covered in burrs. I was found just right outside of
Baltimore/Owings Mills in the woods of Elkton, Maryland.
My owner's aunt first thought that I was a girl but when she took me to
the vet he'd found that I was a boy.
I now live in Rockville, MD with my brother, Tucker, a beagle. I love to
perch on our deck watching deer, squirrels, and a fox. I'm sort of a
traffic hazard since I'm known to dart through our hallways. My favorite
things to do are relax with my owner, watch birds, squirrels, and
chipmunks at our bird feeder through the window, and scratch anything
that's living or not living. During Christmas I love to cuddle underneath
the tree and sometimes use my paw to bat at any of the lights or ornaments
that are hanging extra low. I'm also a bit of a hunter for anything fun to
do whether it's chasing and killing bugs in the basement to knocking down
bottles of perfume or an earring or necklace. I am so glad I was rescued.
