Boo-boo
is a rescued stray cat that we rescued about four years ago from being
eaten by a giant lizard. At that time he and his sister, Poncho, were
little kittens about one month old. First we rescued his sister, Poncho,
after we heard her loud cries and we found her inside the big drain being
bitten and dragged by the lizard. Poncho suffered multiple deep injuries
on her body but survived and now is an adorable, healthy and full-time
in-house cat. We soon noticed Boo-Boo's eyes had serious problems and by
the time we got him to the vet, it was already too late and the vet told
us that Boo-Boo had an eye disease in both eyes and might go blind, even
if treated. The poor kitten's eyes got worse each day until he ended up
losing both eye balls.
But nowadays, Boo-Boo is one of the healthiest, most lovable and active
cats at our home and despite his blindness, he knows how to find his way
all over the house. He'll find the food source, and is cleaning himself
regularly, playing, running and able to climb the roofs and jumping all
around like a normal cat. He knows that we love him very much and always
greets us when we came home from work. He prefers a belly rub and likes to
play soccer with his human parents. We have to crumple paper into a small
ball and throw to him and he come will running with it like he is playing
soccer. Of course we have to play with him, as he can't see and depends
only the sound of the crumpled paper.
Boo-Boo is an incredible cat and we are glad we had saved him years ago.
