My
kitty's full name is PeanutterButter Pus but we usually just call him
Peanut. He is about to turn seven years old and I believe he would be a
Domestic Long Hair and his coloring is called Gray Tabby.
When my friend told me she had found a litter of kittens by the side of
the road, I already had two cats. We found all of the kittens a home except
for the one sickly kitty. I wanted to take him in and nurse him back to
health but I knew my husband would not approve of another cat. So, I told
him I was going to pick up a box of the roasted peanuts that we sold at
the time. I came back with a little ball of gray fuzz instead and he was
promptly named "Peanut" due to the nature of my fib. Peanut won my husband
over, like he has done every other person, cat hater or not, that has come
into contact with him. After he was all better my friend asked if she
could have him back and I had to tell her, "Sorry, but no way, he's in his
forever home already." That was many years ago, and as you can see, he
bears no resemblance now to the sickly kitten he was then, and we're glad
he is ours.
