Jake
lived in our barn for about a year before we added him to the family.
When winter came, we offered him a blanket in the dining room and he's
never left.
Although some people think barn cats are all feral and don't make good
pets, Jake proves how wrong they are. He's the friendliest cat we've ever
had; he loves everybody, including the other cats and his 'little' sister,
our Corgi, Delilah, who is twice his mass. He spends most of his time
catching mice in the barn, but he's just as happy sitting on your lap. And
though we know his mice catching duties are important, too, we're just as
happy to have him there on one of our laps, purring away in contentment.
