Snoopy, the Cat of the Day
Name: Snoopy
Age: Five years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Cat
Home: Belgium

Here is our petite cat Snoopy!! Although she is five years old now, she still looks like a one-year-old kitten! What's so special about her is her underdeveloped front leg. It doesn't bother her at all though, because she can run a climb much faster than her three elder cat sisters! She is my sweet baby!!

One day my hubby came home late because there was a late lunch with some clients (he is an auditor). In the almost-deserted parking lot he found this tiny little kitten, crying for help. It was only skin and bones, and he also noticed she only had three legs. He brought her home and brought her right to my bed (I was already asleep). The kitten started purring right away and even fell asleep there! Of course we decided to keep her! And it was Maya, our sweet calico, who made sure that Snoopy was accepted by the other cats!

The vet saw that she has three normal legs and one underdeveloped one. This 4th one is shorter and had only two toes, no bone in the toes. Her breastbone is not in one piece: her heart is not covered by it, only with skin and fur! Because of this, it is important to be careful when picking her up! Because of these congenital things, we've never let her outside! It is far to dangerous for her out there! What if she jumps on something sharp that goes into her heart?

She is our little sweetheart! She can not use her underdeveloped leg for running; but that doesn't stop her from running around the house! In fact she is the fastest cat we have! One thing she can use that fourth leg for though, is swatting the other cats. She is a funny little devil for sure!
