Ringo
was found in a box on a bridge with his two brothers in March when he
was about six or seven weeks old. He was brought home as soon as we met
him. Ringo was named after Ringo Starr, of the Beatles. When we first got
him, we thought he was a girl, so he was named Lucy, after Lucy in the Sky
with Diamonds by the Beatles... but we quickly discovered he was a boy,
and his name was changed.
Ringo is very athletic, and can jump over nearly any obstacle in his way.
His favorite foods are any type of cold lunch meats that Mom buys, and
kitten kibble... but he prefers people food, and begs for it any chance he
gets. If he's not galloping around the house, Ringo can be found snuggled
in with his stuffed animals, fast asleep. Ringo enjoys jumping on the
counter, playing in the Christmas tree, being outside and lounging in
cardboard boxes. He is an excellent alarm clock and even nuzzles in with us
when he hears the snooze button being hit.
Although we rescued Ringo, he seemed to have rescued us as well. He has
brought us closer together as a family, and was included in family dinner
at Thanksgiving. He knows that he is the favorite "child" in the house, and
takes a lot of pride in it!
