My
baby's name is CherBear and she is a Maine Coon. I got CherBear about a
year ago from a woman off of Craigslist who was moving and had to give up
some of her cats. She brought over two beautiful cats, but I could only take
one. I asked her which one was the most snugly and she recommended CherBear.
The first day I had her, she meowed almost all day. I kept wondering what was
wrong. She had food, water and I had been petting her and playing with her.
WIth time I learned that she was simply talking. We now carry on
conversations, She also tells me when she has killed the fabric "snake" (a
piece of fabric cut from sweat pants) by practically yelling at me.
She also is known among my friends for her uncanny ability to judge how
people are feeling. Her favorite place is on my head or whomever is feeling
gloomy's head. She will lay on your head until it is impossible to feel bad.
She also loves to sleep on anything useful: homework, laundry, dvd players,
and computers. She also has a tendency to fall asleep on arms and legs, but
she is so cute it usually takes an arm falling asleep before anyone is
willing to move.
Finally, she is a rather picky eater. She will not eat fish, or pork and
rarely eats beef. However, she adores chicken and turkey and will run after
and under the feet of whomever is feeding her.
She is the perfect roommate and friend!
