We
found Squeaker in our backyard when he was two weeks old. His eyes weren't
even all the way open yet. For the first day, all he did was squeak, hence
the name. We bottle fed him, and did all the other things you have to do with
a baby that little. Being allergic to cats I was astonished to find that he
didn't bother me! But we still planned to find him a place at a feral cat
rescue or something. But all the places we looked at were so over crowded we
were sure he would be trampled as small as he was! So we held on to him for a
little while, and eventually I fell in love with him to the point that my
fiance pretty much gave up on even looking for a place. He was already home,
and he's been both a joy and a terror ever since. Even when I started having
allergic reactions to him, there was no thought if getting rid of him, just
good drugs for me. He still hasn't gotten past the squeaking. He doesn't seem
to know how to meow, but its so adorable. He likes to curl up on your lap or
your shoulder and go to sleep, even when you are busy reading, or playing a
video game. When we take him out, he crawls up onto my fiances shoulder and
sits there, no matter where we go. We even had his picture taken with Santa
this year! He's a member of the family now, and we love him.
