Steve
Austin came to live with me nine years ago as a "temporary foster." He
followed my friend home but her cats did not like him. He was meant to go
live with my parents after a couple of weeks with me - nine years later they're
still waiting. He is, to say the least, a bit of a character - a cuddler most
of the time, with the occasional display of a nasty temper! He's not shy
about using his teeth and claws in those moments but I love him all the same!
Steve got his name from the old television show the Six Million Dollar Man,
one of his "sound effects" (he has many) is exactly the same as the Bionic
Man lifting something heavy. Steve is an indoor cat who spends a lot of time
looking out the windows glaring at any feline intruders in the garden, though
they do not seem bothered by this at all.
