I
got Dylan from the Cats Protection League in December 2009 - along with
Martha - who is not his sister, although they look like they could be
siblings. But they are very close. The people who had taken him - as a tiny
kitten - to the Cats Protection had described him as vicious and said they
could not cope with him. I find this so hard to believe because as he is the
most affectionate and friendly cat ever! He can be quite moody and is
extremely jealous - if I pay too much attention to Martha, he gets annoyed
and goes and sits in the garden by himself!
But mainly he is to be found sitting on the table in the kitchen where he
likes to watch me cook - always waiting/hoping for some food to fall to the
floor which he can then hoover up! He also likes to re-arrange my hair in the
middle of the night so I get up in the morning looking like I've been plugged
into an electric socket overnight! But I love him!
