Hi
my name is Binx. When my mommy found me, I was sitting in the middle of
her yard with both of my eyes infected and swollen shut. I only weighed nine
ounces. My mommy went inside to get my daddy and he helped her to clean me
and comb the insects out of my fur. She bottle fed me around the clock and
sometimes squirted the milk into my mouth because I wouldn't eat. She
took me to the vet to make me better and I have grown into a big handsome
kitty. My people originally called me Chewy because when they found me, I
looked like Chewbacca. The vet said my left eye will never get completely
better and my people help me take care of it, giving me my medicine when I need it.
I pretty much run things at my home. My family loves me even though I can
be mischievous at times, they just accept me for who I am. I like to lay
on the kitchen counter while mommy cooks or washes the dishes. I think I
get away with a lot of things I shouldn't because I'm so furry. My mommy
and daddy are always picking me up and smooching me and I always let them
do it. I don't even get upset about all the smooching - I love all the attention.
I have a sister cat named Luna who is very small and shy, my mommy took
her in because somebody dropped her off in a vacant lot. We love each
other and groom each other all the time. Sometimes we fall asleep while
hugging each other. I also have a brother named Arnie who is a fox
terrier that my people rescued from a dog shelter. He loves to play with
me, too. We are all happy here.
