This
is Rufus, but we also call him «The beast». Since we lost our
previous cat, the loving Gustave, we were looking for a very affectionate
breed. After lengthy research, we discovered how wonderful and beautiful
the Ragdolls were. We then found little Rufus at a local breeder and fell
in love with him immediately. Rufus is a very gentle cat and has the
softest coat you will ever touch. He is such a polite little fellow. Every
time we have company, he waits by the door to say hi, sometimes taking
advantage of the situation by escaping in the lobby to explore a bit. He
befriends everyone, even little kids, letting them pet him as much as they
want. Rufus also loves to play with other cats, even though the feeling is
not always mutual. When there is no other cat to play with, his favorite
game is to fetch the toy mouse. His impressive jumps to catch the mouse
make him an undeniable athlete. Whenever we leave the room, he follows us
to see what we are doing and then lies down near us. If we speak or even
look at him with love, he automatically starts to purr loudly. We love him
dearly and wish he will stay with us for many years to come.
