I
found Mickey when he was a kitten, walking alone on the roads. He was a
stray, he was dirty and looked like he was starving. He started following
me and I knew I couldn't just leave him there, so I brought him home and
took care of him. After a few months of having posters up, no one had
claimed him so we decided to welcome him into our family. Ever since then,
Mickey has been a wonderful family member. He cuddles up with you, eats
from your hand and is friendly to everyone he meets. He is always at his
happiest when you are petting him and giving him attention, and also when
you have a treat in your hand. When he's really happy he rolls over on his
back and paws at the air, which I believe is his way of telling you to
keep petting him! Everyone always comments on how adorable he is and how
he has an amazing personality.
Like most cats, Mickey hates the water and even when the tap splashes he
runs out of the room meowing. His favorite spot to cuddle up is a chair
near our front window. He loves sitting there to watch birds, people and
other animals go by. He is scared of the rain, so whenever it rains he
hides under the computer desk. But as soon as it stops he's back up on
that chair! Another favorite spot of his is outside under a nice shady
tree in our backyard. He could sit there for hours just watching birds fly
around. He also watches birds while sunbathing on the deck. He is a great
cat and I love him!
