Yoda
was adopted from the Connecticut Humane Society with his almost-twin
brother, Pete, and his totally different sister Molly. We had not planned
on adopting three cats, but we were suckered into it. I mean, look at that
face! Yoda has picked up many other names- Mr. Marshmallow Fluff, Great
White, Moby-Cat, Speed Bump. He answers to none of them, because he is a
cat, and he is deaf. Not just selective hearing like most cats - he really
is deaf. He does know when food is being opened, somehow, though.
He loves to play with toys - the laser light is a favorite. He also enjoys
clearing off counter tops and other work surfaces, being vacuumed, bird
watching, fitting into boxes that are too small for him, and harassing his
siblings and the other cats in the house. He also likes warming laps in
winter, making biscuits, and eating. He is usually a very calm cat, with
episodes of total silliness. He's a major addition to the household and we
love him very much!
