Our
boys Ted E. Bear (left) and Bandit (right) both turned one year old in
April of 2011.
"We were adopted from the local shelter in March by a very nice couple.
They had lost their three cats in the past year and we filled a big void for
them. Our house is huge compared to what we came from with so much room to
run around, lots of window sills with perfect bird feeder viewing and we
even have an indoor parrot; named Tukus to "play" with, or at least we
think we are playing with him but Mommy has to watch us very carefully the
whole time.
"As you can tell from this photo we love each other very much and even
though we are not blood brothers, we feel like brothers in every sense. We
groom each other, we play, we fight, we eat and sometimes we fall asleep
together with our paws wrapped around each other, like in the photo.
Thanks for sharing our story and for our furry friends still at the
shelters, keep the faith - miracles do happen, they did for us!"
