This
is my cat Callie Coco, a.k.a. Coco Bean, Coco Puff, Coco Nut and
Best Kitty. I adopted Callie when she was eight weeks old from a nice family
whose cat had a litter of kittens. Callie was the mama's girl of the
litter, and has been my furry girl ever since. Her favorite pastimes are
napping, watching birds and squirrels, eating Fancy Feast and napping
some more. She is an indoor cat, but when the weather is nice she likes
to go outside on her harness. She loves to explore, eat grass and roll
around on the patio or in the dirt.
When Callie was a young cat, she had a big adventure we call "Baby's Day
Out". During a windy storm, the window screen popped out and she escaped
onto the second floor deck. When I got home from work and found her
missing, I frantically searched for her, finally finding her deep in the
briars, scared and meowing. After cutting back the briars, I was able to
free her, put her in her carrier and get her back in the house. She was
muddy and scared, but luckily not hurt. To this day, I don't know how
she got down from the second floor deck, how she ended up stuck in the
briars, and what her adventure entailed. She still enjoys going outside,
but only on her harness!
Callie is a true princess, and loves to be brushed. She does not play
much with toys, but finds cardboard boxes and paper bags lots of fun!
Once we had a mouse in the house and she thought it was a cool toy.
Callie is a truly sweet cat and I love her very much!
