Meet
Chico Spock and Zé Yoda: My beautiful, bilingual, Brazilian beasts.
We adopted Spock (dark), and Zé (pale) in November 2010. They were
both rescued strays and both about two months old at that time. Zé
was very weak and lethargic, our vet quickly diagnosed him with anaemia
and depression. We spent the first few weeks giving him medicine to
improve his appetite and we lavished him with attention and cuddles. As
you can see he is now fine and is growing into a big and beautiful cat.
He's still a very quiet and thoughtful little chap, but his appetite is
not an issue now. He loves his grub!
Spock is a real character. He's got so much energy and he's very
talkative. He is constantly chatting to us and to Zé. He has so
many different burbles, mews, squeaks and howls and definitely likes to
let us know where he is and what he's doing. He is very cheeky and
naughty, forever getting himself into funny situations (some of which I've
been lucky enough to catch on camera).
Moving to a new country (I'm from the UK) can be quite lonely at times,
but I feel so much more at home here now that I've got some furry friends.
I love sharing my time with them, they are wonderful company. Their
personalities are so different from each other; I have lovely quiet
moments with Zé, and big enthusiastic cuddles with Spock. I've got
a cat for all occassions!
